Baked Pears, a simple 6 ingredient dessert. Great for when you forgot to plan something ahead of time and need something delicious and fast. This recipe can be easily adapted to use more pears, just double the recipe or eyeball the ingredients!
Pull Together:
2 Pears
1 tablespoon butter divided into fourths
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
Steps:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Preapre the pears by taking off the skins and cutting them in half. Then scoop out the seed part of the pear.
Place pears inside up in a pan with edges to prevent the pears from sliding. With the divided butter, place a pat of butter in each pear well.
Mix together dry ingredients (this is where you can odd other seasoning or ommit to make it GF), sprinkle on brown sugar mixture.
Bake for 20-30 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, honey, or as is.
