Renovating the classic s' mores by adding a fudgy chocolatey brownie this time. Toasting the marshmallows under the broiler adds the true campfire touch. You can make these brownies with any favorite brownie recipe on hand, this recipe is a great starting point for any brownie!
Pull Together:
1 stick of melted butter
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 cup of sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup of flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup marshmallows ( more if desired)
Optional - add in 1 cup of nuts or chocolate chips
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease desired baking pan, (8*8, 9*13).
2. In a medium bowl combine the melted
butter, cocoa, and sugar stirring until fully dissolved.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, then add in the vanilla stirring until incorporated.
Stir in the flour and salt until fully combined. Make sure not to overmix. At this point, you can mix in other add-ins.
4. Spread in a pan, sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs on top. Bake for 20 minutes or until the center is slightly set.
5. Remove the brownies to add the marshmallows, turn the oven to broil, and broil the marshmallows until the desired doneness.
6. Cool completely before cutting the brownies.
